The Rochester Area Girls Choir is a non-profit all volunteer organization that was created in 1978 by Diane Toogood and her late husband, Roger, to carry out the ideals listed in our mission statement. Diane is a keyboardist, freelance performer, teacher, vocalist, and trainer of musicians of all ages.
Lorie Leske joins Diane in directing the RAGC. Lorie is a director and talented vocalist who has a passion for music and loves working with people of all ages.
The Rochester Area Girls Choir is comprised of young girls from many different schools and communities of the Rochester area and surrounding communities. This is a great way for girls to form friendships through music.
Throughout the season, the girls sing at several special events. Check out the schedule for further details and where you might catch them in concert. A tour which includes some recreational activities as well as performances is planned at the end of each choir season.

How to Join
We are interested in talented, positive and energetic singers. Each girl wishing to try out for the choir will need to audition. A membership fee is payable upon registration. This fee helps cover the cost of music, folders, newsletters, postage, programs, treats and part of the spring tour.
